ccna or A+ certification
CCNA Certification
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. This new curriculum also includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).
A+ certification
The CompTIA A+ certification is the industry standard for computer support technicians. The international, vendor-neutral certification proves competence in areas such as installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting. CompTIA A+ certified technicians also have excellent customer service and communication skills to work with clients.
CompTIA A+ is part of the certification track for corporations such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco and Novell. Other technology companies, including CompuCom and Ricoh, have made CompTIA A+ certification mandatory for their service technicians. More than 700,000 people worldwide have become CompTIA A+ certified since the program’s inception in 1993.
I understand CCNA is cisco, Comptia Network+ is neutral. But when you go out and look for a job, which one is easier to get yourself a job?

A+ job seeking
I saw someone pasted about A+ job seeking in a forum
I have a good amount of experience with repairing and building PCs but at the moment don’t have any formal experience or certifications to demonstrate it. The A+ cert seems like a good road to take but as I have a very low income, I’m finding myself a bit put off by the relatively expensive fees, and would like a bit of advice as to whether it’s worth me doing in the current climate.
I don’t expect to find work straight away but it’s quite scary reading members of this board state it may take 1-5 years to find that first bottom level tech job. I realise there’s a lot of competition about and we’re in a recession at the moment, but is this really an average time period for someone seeking their first IT job armed with an A+ cert (and a well written CV)?
so i think choose testpassport dumps is Wise choice, testpassport can help you pass A+ certification easily ,because it is real Q&As,
good luck to erveryone
Is 70-447 a mash up of 70-443 and 70-444 ?
I’m planning on attending the exam “70-447″, UPGRADE: MCDBA Skills to MCITP Database Administrator by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 before it’s scheduled to be retired and it also comes at a “bargain” price of 85 euros.
Reading the threads about it I got the impression that the exam is entirely “case studies” based but looking at some sample questions it would seem to contain standard questions as well. Moreover, it would look as a mixture of 70-443 questions and 70-444 questions which are the standard, not upgrade, exams.
Can anybody who took this exam clarify what kind of questions are to be expected ?

What is CCNA?
today we talk about what is ccna?
You can get your CCNA by either:
1) Passing one exam 640-802. Its close to 90 minutes long and have about 55-60 questions.
or
2) You can divide the course work into two parts.
i. 640-822 ICND1 : 90 minutes with 40-50 questions.
ii. 640-816 ICND2 : 90 minutes with 40-50 questions.
Whichever style of studying you decide to do the course work is the same.
Whats in it?
Passed CCDA
sterday i passed CCDA 640-863
I used testpassport Q&As
and CBT Nuggets but 640-861 the 640-863 has been just released
I think design is the most difficult thing because you must know every
section(voice,video,wireless,security,management,routing,switching….)
CCDA makes a fast passing from every section but not with many details so after CCNP
going to CCDA you wont find it difficult.
Understanding SONA is the key for CCDA and of course is a Cisco approach for the network
design.
Good work to everyone that is going to study CCDA.
